Jessica and I (Rebecca) love experiencing life with our pets and think that their lives are worth documenting. The holidays this year will be no exception. We think dogs are some of the most amazing creatures, they challenge us to be better humans and give us a sort of unconditional love. This is exactly what the Christmas spirit embodies. So this Christmas, we decided that if you can Deck the Halls, you can Deck the Dogs!
Beatrice wore gold to match her eyes. Pepper was dressed in red because she just looks so good in it. Titan got green because he adores nature… eating nature. We also asked the fluffy members of our family about some of their Christmas likes and dislikes. Keep reading to find out what Beatrice, Pepper, and Titan love about the holiday season!
Beatrice
What is your favorite Christmas song? “Walking in a Winter Wonderland” because walks are life!
Your choice of Christmas goodie? My favorite snackos are popcorn garland, any Christmas carb.. and the occasional snowball.
Are there winter activities you enjoy? Walks in the snow and going for drives to see the Christmas lights!! 25 degrees? Yeah I still want the windows open.
Tell us about your favorite Christmas tradition? Waking up early on Christmas morning. (Waking up the hoomans early on Christmas).
Do you have any dislikes about the holidays? Rearranging the house for the Christmas decorations (change is scary) and frequent interruptions by the threatening delivery humans.
How do you unwrap a Christmas Present? I like to take my time making wrapping paper confetti….. what toy?
Pepper
What is your favorite Christmas song? “Jingle Bells”.. Snuffle All The Smells… that’s how it goes right?
Your choice of Christmas goodie? I love crunchy lumps of coal!! (Rocks… what a delicacy).
Are there winter activites you enjoy? Any excuse to get bundled up in my warm hoodie and coat. I also love standing in-front of the open door and sniffing the air and singing carols for all the neighbors that walk by the house.
Tell us about your favorite Christmas tradition? My favorite tradition is when we put up the Christmas tree. The hoomans decorate it with these toys they call “ornaments”. I take them off to play with and suddenly my people like to play a fun game of chase with me.
Do you have any dislikes about the holidays? There are always too many people around for this introvert. I like to say “hi” but then I just go hide upstairs for a nap.
How do you unwrap a Christmas Present? Ummm…. Unwrap? I thought that the crinkle paper was edible to.
Titan
What is your favorite Christmas song? “Bark The Harold Angles Sing!” and “Up On the Countertop”.
Your choice of Christmas goodie? Is it edible? Yes. Does it look edible? Yes.
Are there winter activities you enjoy? Snow zoomies, enjoying a pile of blankets, and keeping my humans laps warm.
Tell us about your favorite Christmas tradition? Spending time with my friends and family….. and strangers? Sure why not! All hoomans welcome!
Do you have any dislikes about the holidays? Getting In trouble for trying to join in on Christmas dinner. I just want to sample all the culinary masterpieces!
How do you unwrap a Christmas Present? I destroy everything in 5 seconds and then try to steal my sisters present.
