Did you know that there is absolutely no requirement for a special occasion to document you and your loved ones? There doesn’t have to be a birthday, a wedding, a graduation or a new addition to make a good excuse. Documenting what you love just because you love it is always a perfect reason. Life changes every single minute and even the normal, everyday moments are worth being remembered.

Colin and Katarina decided to document themselves just because. This cute Toledo couple had been attendants in a wedding I photographed over the summer. When they saw I was running a portrait special, they decided it was a wonderful opportunity to work with a professional for some beautiful photos. Colin and Katarina send super laid back vibes. They are fun and friendly and completely themselves. Read on to learn a little about them!

How long have you two been dating? We’ve been dating for almost 4 years - December 27th will be our 4th anniversary. Thanks Tinder!
What do does Colin do? What does Katarina do? Colin is a barista/coffee connoisseur/manager at Plate 21! Katarina is a Registered Nurse at St Charles hospital.
What do you love to do together as a couple? We love to go to concerts together, watch soccer and Formula 1, travel when we can, but our favorite thing is sitting on the couch together just relaxing. We honestly even have fun when we go to the grocery store.
What is your funniest/worst date story? For our 3rd anniversary dinner, we wanted to go to Kengo Sushi downtown Toledo. We parked the car and it was POURING rain, at the end of December mind you, and we got to the door and it was closed. We ended up going somewhere else for dinner looking like wet dogs and feeling very sad that Kengo was closed for the evening.
What is a big goal that you have worked together to accomplish? Our most major goal as a couple (that we’re still progressing toward) is to move to Cincinnati so Colin can go back to school to pursue his dream of being an architect, and so we can get season tickets to FC Cincinnati games.
Why did you choose to work with a professional photographer? We chose to work with Rebecca because we worked with her previously for our best friends Suzie and Victor’s wedding, and her work is incredible! We also just wanted some quality photos of us that weren’t taken on an iPhone.
