Calvin. Toledo School for the Arts. Studio Senior Portraits.

Calvin wanted some simple senior photos in the studio. Bringing his dogs was a priority. Including pets in high school senior’s portraits is something I am always happy to do. Calvin also included his drumsticks and his quiz bowl coat to highlight more of his personality. Students from Toledo School for the Arts often have a variety of interests and creative outlets.
I really enjoy working in the studio and seeing which colors my clients choose for their backdrops. Calvin liked the neutral tones so we went with a brown and a green. Scroll down and let me know which one you would have picked!
Get to Know Calvin:
Where are you graduating from? I am graduating from Toledo School for the Arts.
What three words would you use to describe your personality? I would probably say “smart, driven, and passionate.”
What is one thing you could never live without? I don’t think I could live without the Internet. I’m just a little too dependent on it.
What is your most precious keepsake? I guess I would probably say either my drum sticks or my All-Star Player award from the High School National Championship Tournament for Quiz Bowl last year.
What do you enjoy doing for fun? I’m currently the captain of my school’s Quiz Bowl team, and I spend a large portion of my time studying and practicing for Quiz Bowl for fun.
Who is one person you look up to? I look up to my piano teacher, Mrs. Clausius.
Do you have plans for after graduation? If so, what? will likely go to Ohio State University and major in chemistry.
What made you choose to have your dogs in your photos with you? My mom suggested it, and I thought it would be a unique choice, so I decided to go with it.
What stood out to you about your experience with Rebecca? I was amazed by how efficient the process was for that great of a final product. The photo-taking process went very fast, which is I was a little worried might lower the quality afterwards, but the pictures turned out excellent. I’m not used to looking good in photos, but each photo that she took proved that it is possible for me to look good in photos.
