Commercial Branding Shoot. Why You Need One.

Branding your business might sound like something that just happens. When you start your shop, your service, your product, branding and public image will just fall into place right? Wrong. Branding is something purposeful that every successful business has done. Branding has to do with logos, color schemes, names and aesthetic. But it is even more than that. From the way you speak about your business on your website to the smell your clients associate with your company, everything you do can impact your branding.

Clients expect an experience that is consistent in every aspect. Cohesive branding can provide them with that. If you are running a luxury hotel and your toilet paper feels like sandpaper, your visitors will notice. Maybe you offer a cleaning service but your office is a cluttered mess. Your prospective clients are going to see a lack of symmetry in your practices. Making your brand consistent in every aspect of your business will keep your patrons satisfied and loyal because they know exactly what to expect when they work with you.

In this visually driven culture, professional images can contribute greatly to your branding endeavors. Great photographs can answer many of your potential client's questions without ever having a conversation with them. Simply by finding these images on your website, Google, and social media outlets, customers can get to know your brand.

So what questions can these images answer? More than you might think!

Who:

Who are you? Professional images can put a face, or faces, with the name of your brand. People like to know a little bit about who they will potentially be working with. Showing them a headshot or photo of your staff in action can make potential clients feel like they know you. If you are a business that has no in person contact, you send a product or serve remotely, sharing your face with the customers you work with can put them at ease by giving them a face to the voice on the phone or the other end of their email.

What?

What do you do? Great photos communicate what your service or product is. It tells your audience what you are trying to sell. They can see quality of production and the appeal of your service. Does your product shine, have texture, bright colors, a unique shape? Does your service make something beautiful, put someone at ease, or provide results? Photos can show potential clients exactly what you are about.

Where?

The brick and mortar might not seem important to your service, but a potential client would love to be able to anticipate the feel and aesthetic of your establishment. People will choose to visit a location that makes them feel comfortable. If you can advertise your location in a way that makes potential clients connect with your vibe, you will be able to better reach your target market.

When?

Placing images of your product in front of your potential clients will help them to bookmark your service for a specific time when they need or want it. Your item might be a gift for a friend or you might provide a meeting space for a group. Your potential clients might not need your product right at the moment, but seeing professional images that display what you offer will make an impact so that they remember you at the time they do need your services.

Why?

Why you? Why not someone else? Why will your target market choose you instead of your competition? When you answer all of the previous questions, you set yourself apart. That is why they will choose you.

Branding images can be a very valuable investment for your business. Professional images communicate with your potential clients by answering many of their questions up front, before any action is required on their part. These photos play an integral role in a consistent branding strategy.
