Joel Senior Portraits. Class of 2019. Toledo Ohio Maumee Valley Country Day School.
Joel is a Maumee Valley Country Day School graduate as of this past May. He just started his first semester at Ithaca College and is studying Cinema Production. Wildwood Metropark in Toledo was the location of choice for Joel’s senior photos. Not only did I get to photograph Joel, I got to photograph Joel with his dog, Indy. Including pets in a senior’s photo session is something I am always happy to accommodate. Joel was comfortable in front of the camera and could switch his smile on and off seamlessly. He let me incorporate some dramatic lighting and he was able to help Indy pose with him.
I asked Joel a few questions about him and Indy:
What three words would you use to describe your personality? Creative, passionate, driven.
What is one thing you could never live without? Cliff Bars.
What do you enjoy doing for fun? Rock climbing.
Who is one person you look up to? My father.
What are your long-term goals? I would like to start a production company and produce commercial and other short form content.
What breed is Indy and how old is he? He’s a mini golden doodle and he’s 11.
How has he been important in your life? He’s been with me for the majority of my life so being able to just sit with him is very comforting.
