Grace & Gelmar. Tampa Wedding. La Teresita Banquet Hall.

Grace and Gelmar had an amazing wedding in Tampa Florida last Spring! Happy one year to the newlyweds! I would call this a destination wedding, except Grace and Gelmar are Tampa locals. However, myself and most of their family traveled from all over to celebrate with them. This was my first destination wedding as a photographer.

Let me introduce you to Grace and Gelmar!

How would you describe your personal style? Laid-back, semi-formal, funny, warm/friendly, inclusive, and creative.
How did you meet? At church; we were part of a staff for two congregations. Our weekly staff meetings helped us bond.
What is the favorite/best date you’ve been on together? One of my (Grace’s) favorite dates was not actually a date. We went as friends to an arena football game… let’s just say the flirt game was strong!
Who proposed? How? Gelmar, through a scavenger hunt to a bunch of significant places for us, ending with a song under a candle-lit gazebo. Mega cute.

One of the things I loved most about working with these two was the fact that they were so full of joy. The happiness and excitement of the day was very clearly expressed on their faces. The smiles could not have been bigger. Grace and Gelmar just celebrated their one year anniversary and they are an amazing team and so in love!
