Lindsay contacted me after buying her wedding dress at Blush A Bridal Boutique in Bowling Green, Ohio. Lee, the owner, happens to pass out my brochure to all of her brides! I met with Lindsay and Terry in downtown Bowling Green at one of my local favorites, Grounds for Thought. Lindsay explained that she and Terry have a little girl and they have been working very hard building a life together. Terry was working an opposite shift to Lindsay and I asked if they ever got to see each other. They both agreed that they do what it takes to make it work! Get to know Lindsay and Terry a little better:

How did you meet? We met at a party.
How would you describe your personal style? Very laid back.
What is the favorite/best date you’ve been on together? We went to Cabo San Lucas in mexico in 2013 for 5 days!
Who proposed? How? Terry proposed to me after work. One day I came home to a dark house and when I turned on the lights Terry was down on one knee and asked me to marry him. I said YES!

Can I just say how much I LOVE working with people who are kind and laid back? Terry and Lindsay were amazing to work with. No drama. They rolled with any issue that came up and kept their positive attitudes all day long. Lindsay even chased me out to my car to say goodbye at the end of the night when I couldn't find her.

The bride and groom shared a first dance. The bride and her father shared a dance. And then, Terry and his sister danced together in memory of their mother who had passed away. There was not a dry eye to be found during that dance. At the end of the song, all of Terry's family and friends gathered around him and his sister in a giant embrace. The love and support shown in that moment was truly overwhelming and beautiful. This is what weddings are about. Love. Commitment. And weathering these storms of life together.
